At Furry Popins (Furry Tail Events), our mission is to provide an exceptional Pet care experience to you, your Pets, and to animals who are less fortunate than our loved Fur babies, donating a % of profits to local rescue charities!

Furry Popins offers a variety of premium POPIN & Daycare services to meet the needs of your furry friends, whether that is a regular daily, weekly or holiday need. I cover Great Coates, Healing and the surrounding villages.
My Story
I know first hand, how frustrating it is when you are juggling work, days out or that long anticipated vacation - your fur babies need looking after by a reliable trusted professional!
Furry Popins was born out of my love for animals, the great outdoors and a passion for exceptional customer service.
Being a Farmer's daughter, I have a strong connection with animals, and have gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in caring for Pets of all shapes and sizes, during the last 35 years, including my Golden Retriever and rescue Collie that I share my life with today!
During 2025 several clients approached me about their wedding plans - wishing to have their precious pets in attendance on their Wedding Day, and so Furry Tail Events was borne! Having worked in some of England's most prestigious Hotels, focusing on Events & Weddings - for 2 legged peeps, I know first hand what it takes to make your big day a Fairy Tale! We are delighted to offer personalised Dog Chaperone Services to create lasting pawtraits & special memories with your precious pets - see testimonials from happy couples on my Facebook page!
Niche Offering...
I look after most animals - Cats, *Dogs, Pocket Pets (e.g. Hamsters), Rabbits, Tortoises, Fish & Birds - no snakes or spiders!
*With over 300 Pedigree Dog breeds recognised in the U.K and endless combinations of mixed breeds, coupled with a recent Osteo Arthritis diagnosis, I have chosen to specialise in medium to small breeds that I know, and am comfortable with - albeit these are not carved in stone, they include the Golden Retriever, Border Collie, Cocker & Springer Spaniel, Labrador, Cockapoo, Cavapoo and the like. I have several rescue dogs and mongrels on my books too, whom I adore ;)
Having two male neutered dogs of my own, I only work with dogs that are socialised, house trained, and preferably able to join group walks, where we can venture further afield...(male dogs must be neutered, unless a puppy).
I will happily make referrals to trusted local colleagues, if my services do not meet your needs, or if you are looking for specialist behavioural advice.

Out at work - Pop in
Require a daily POPIN whilst you are at work, away on business or holiday, or out for the evening? - *Dogs, Cats, Fish, Birds, Rabbits or Pocket pets - like Hamsters. We can feed, give fresh water, clean litter trays, administer medication, comfort break / walk and provide fuss and play / enrichment.
Away overnight or on Holiday, and require a few visits per day for your cat, rabbit, guinea pig? Some pets suffer from anxiety away from home, so let us POPIN and take care of them in their own home, in familiar surrounding - Cats prefer to be at home!
Need a holiday POPIN service during the day for your *Dog(s) whilst you are away, even though someone is still at home, but out working in the day?
Puppy / eLDERLY PUP - Pop In
We are proud to offer a package especially for your new Puppy or Kitten, to ensure they have the best start in life. And respectfully care for Older Animals, who have very different needs.
Furry Popins can offer a furiendly face during the day or evening, and a tailored plan to suit the needs of your furry best friend.
New Puppy?
Scared and feel mean going back to work already - does the thought of leaving your little one home alone for more than a few hours fill you with fear, for both them and you? House training, regular breaks and feeding are all key in these early weeks, along with cuddle time, play and socialisation.
Elderly Pet?
Need frequent toileting breaks, a slow sedentary stroll, medication administering, a trip to hydrotherapy, or the vets? All laced with time, patience and gentle loving attention.
Dream Suite Dog Boarding (AW0128) & Holiday PopIns
We proudly offer luxury boutique Dog boarding here in the Suite of Dreams, at Daffodil Cottage - a beautiful Victorian Cottage with large secure gardens.
Furry Popins has a two year, four star rating, from NE Lincs Council for Home Dog Boarding (AW0128) - the highest rating and longest duration, for a 1st application.
I lovingly provide home boarding for up to 4 dogs at a time, including my 2 residents dogs - small and exclusive! (neutered dogs only).
Prices start from £35.00 per night and we can offer daycare until you return home, with discounts for longer stays.
I also offer standalone Daycare of Dogs, for adhoc needs, to regular registered clients.
Dog Walking
We offer Dog walking as part of Popin services only, to give your dog the exercise and playtime they need to stay active and content.
Walks in Norman Dene Aylesby, Laceby Beck, Weelsby Woods, Bradley Woods, Fitties Beach, Aerodrome, Tetney Marshes etc. and of course, for older dogs we can tailor more sedentary walks.
Walks can be solo, or as part of a small group - on or off lead - 30 mins, 60 mins or 2 hours.
This service is offered to Registered Clients using POP IN services only.
Complimentary Registration
Furry Popins (Furry Tail Events) offer a complimentary 45 minute initial meet & greet, to better understand your needs and to meet your Pets. Once Registered for our services, bookings and payment are made easy. I provide WhatsApp 60 seconds updates and post adventures on my Facebook page!
I am a Member of the National Association of Pet Sitters, and Dog Walkers (NarpsUK);
Canine & Feline 1st Aid Qualified; Fully Insured and DBS (CRB) cleared, and have Business Insurance on my vehicle - all Clients' keys are numbered and securely locked away.
I am always happy to receive Client Love, through your feedback and testimonial.
Furry Tail Events - Dog Chaperone service / Pet taxi
Furry Tail Events will create a personalised Dog Chaperone offering for your Proposal, Engagement, Wedding or Celebration, taking care of every tiny detail. In 2025 I provided Dog Chaperone services for Weddings at Tickton Grange Hotel Beverley, Laceby Manor, and The Barn at Willerby Hill....give your precious pet a Furry Tail invitation and treat your dog to luxury boutique boarding (AW0128) whilst you are on honeymoon!
I also offer a fully insured Pet Taxi transportation service to registered Clients - secure Dog Park, Swimming, Hydrotherapy, Vets, Groomers - appointments in general - collect / drop - emergency situations.
